In a Meeting
  • You are a leader that recognises that workplace wellbeing matters

  • Instinctively, you know that if staff are happier and healthier then they perform better and the company thrives.

  • There is a difference however, in knowing that wellbeing matters and knowing where to start and this is where this course delivers.

  • This isn’t just a workshop, it’s a collaborative session where your team build a wellbeing strategy in real time and create solutions specific to your organisation

  • Unmanaged stress and low motivation doesn’t just affect people — It quietly drains productivity, performance, and profit margins. The longer it’s ignored, the more it costs. The time to act is before it spirals. – This bit sounds better when I speak it so maybe the video?

Does this sound familiar, you’re not alone

Rising stress is affecting staff wellbeing

The problem:
Staff are taking more sick days — or worse, showing up but underperforming

Why it matters:
Stress is the leading cause of long-term sickness absence in the workplace, reported by 76% of organizations in the UK.
(CIPD Health and Wellbeing at Work Report, 2023)

People are busy — but productivity is low

The problem:
Meetings, email overload, Slack messages… being busy doesn’t mean being effective.

Why it matters:
Only 21% of the average workday is spent on high-value, strategic work.
(Atlassian, 2023 Productivity Trends)

You're losing good people — or struggling to hire

The problem:
High staff turnover and difficulty attracting top talent are dragging teams down.

Why it matters:
50% of UAE employees are actively looking for a new job. Replacing them can cost 50–200% of their salary.

Your wellbeing initiatives aren’t delivering results

The problem:
You’ve run workshops and wellness weeks… but nothing seems to stick.

Why it matters:
Only 1–2% of organizations measure the impact of their wellbeing initiatives. (Wellbeing Research Centre, University of Oxford, 2023)

Why Work With Matt

Matt Marney has been working in the wellbeing space since 2003. He brings a rare mix of experience across physical, mental, and emotional health.

He’s a highly experienced educator and trainer in the fitness industry, a corporate mental health facilitator, and a mindfulness teacher. He also hosts an award-winning wellbeing podcast that explores real-life strategies for better health.

Matt also understands the corporate world — because he’s lived it. In 2001, he left a corporate role burnt out, struggling with his mental health and addiction. He’s been sober for over 18 years.

That experience shapes everything he teaches. Matt works with organisations to create cultures that protect people from what he went through — and help teams thrive without burning out.

Why the current approach Isn’t working

Workplace wellbeing has mainly focused on perks.
Pizza Fridays, gym memberships, and social events are well intentioned — but they haven’t moved the needle.

The reality:

  • UAE employees work an average of 50.9 hours per week
(Ranks second globally: US 38 | UK 35.9 – Business Insider)

  • 52% of MENA workers report high stress
(Global average: 41% – Gallup, via Fast Company ME)

  • 99% of UAE respondents reported at least one symptom of burnout in the past year
    (Mentl Space)

The biggest cause of stress at work is workload.
Adding more initiatives to an already full plate doesn’t help.

This session is different.
It doesn’t give people more to do.

It gives leaders the tools to fix the root causes.

Business Meeting

Why this course makes a difference

  • This isn’t a typical workplace wellbeing workshop. It’s part education, part consultancy.

  • Workplace wellbeing is broad — and often misunderstood.

  • Many organisations invest in it, but little changes. Real change only happens when leaders support it. And leaders can only support it if they fully understand it.

  • This course gives leaders a clear understanding of what workplace wellbeing is — and why it matters as a business strategy.

  • You’ll explore how to reduce stress across teams by shaping policies and practices that minimise distraction and create space for focused work.

  • This is how productivity and performance improve.Once that space exists, staff are better able to take ownership of their own wellbeing.

  • This course helps leaders understand how to support that process in a way that fits your team.

  • What makes this course different is that the problems and solutions aren’t generic.

  • They’re shaped by you and built for your organisation through real collaboration.

This session gives leaders dedicated time to step back, reflect, and assess what’s really going on inside the business.

You’ll work together to identify where wellbeing practices and policies can support performance, reduce stress, and improve engagement.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with:

  • A shortlist of priority areas for change

  • Clear goals based on your team’s needs

  • Practical first steps toward building a wellbeing strategy

The course also includes a 60-minute follow-up session online, where you’ll have the chance to review ideas, ask questions, and clarify the next steps.

This isn’t a one-off talk. It’s the start of a focused, leader-led shift in how your organisation approaches wellbeing.
